A talent development process is the foundation of a career partnership with your employees. Rather than haphazardly chancing time and money on what may/or may not be a useful learning experience, the development process gives both your organization the opportunity to set objectives that will ensure that the organization realizes the fullest potential of each employee.
The primary purpose of either a career or performance development is to help employees set up reasonable goals, assess their particular strengths, and chart where they can best contribute and grow. Effective development programs not only address how an organization can assist an individual in development, but it also addresses activities of self-development undertaken by the individual. The Talent Development Process explores employee development from the Organization, Team and individual level.

· Create a direct line of sight between the work accomplished by departments and employees and the business strategy.
· Determine current baseline information for individuals, teams, or departments, directly linked to company goals cascading throughout the organization and assess how all employees are linked to a specific goal, standard, and or competency.
